Oh we have been having a loverly summer here in NYC. Sorry for the lack of posting but I have either been in summer camp hell, or summertime fun bliss.
And why not have fun in this city in the summertime? There is so many free concerts, outdoor picnics, and baseball game activities my social calendar has been bursting at the seems.
July was not only RyeGirls' birthday month but the wrap of of a winning softball season. Despite starting the season with a bang (literally I took a bat to the face catching), it ended with some smooth drinks at sometime rivals/friends hang out, The Zombie Hut on 5th Ave in Brooklyn. Look how beautiful the girls look all decked out in floral after a sweaty softball game?! Oooh Ladies!
What better way to cool off after a hot game than one of Renee's Cucarita's! This cool yet spicy drink is made with muddled cucumbers, tequila blanco, sour mix (homemade, natch) and sriracha for that kick. Yum yum. What could be better after a softball victory? Especially when it is mixed by this Hottie Boombalottie (whose name is NOT Vince by the way...)
