Last Cocktail Before Tales

Here I sit in my beloved Fort Defiance. Just a few short hours away from boarding a jet plane to take me to the Cresent City. But I had to take in one more bike ride over the Brooklyn Bridge.  One more time I take in the salty harbor air of Red Hook.

St. John is sening me off in style with a classic New Orleans cocktail.  I asked him what his favorite NOLA cocktail to make was and he mentioned he has been working on the Vieux Carre.  Work away, I say.

Perfection. I am now fortified.  Bring it on Tales.
