The Dining section of the NY TImes today has a story about the good nosh being served at some cocktail joints, an idea I alluded to last week in my whithering Cabrito post. Nice to see we are in agreement about Employees Only and PDT. And The Bloody Beast is my favorite at Blind Tiger!
Writer Julia Moskin also mentioned Pegu Club. While I have found cocktail perfection there (they have the most well balanced and satisfying cocktails AND Lady bartenders!), I have found their food spotty. The crab cake sliders were divine but the summer rolls were bland and uninspiring. Still, very nice and interesting snacks to go with some pretty spectacular cocktails.
