Rye (Secale cereale) is a grass grown extensively as a grain and forage crop. It is a member of the wheat tribe (Triticeae) and is closely related to barley and wheat. Rye grain is used for flour, rye bread, rye beer, vodka and great whiskeys.

I have not had a day off since January, and won't have one off til February. So in this haze of work, it's the little things I am thankful for. For instance tonight I have perfect lemons for both peels and wheels. Small round ones for wheels, big mommas for nice sturdy peels.
This is a big deal to me today. This makes me happy.
